Dr. Spoonhower has set the highest standards of excellence in orthodontics for over seven years. He received his doctorate in dentistry degree after four years of training at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated first in his class at Case and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Dental Society. He then completed two-and-a-half years of specialty training in orthodontics at Case Western Reserve University, graduating with a master's degree in dentistry. An esteemed member of the orthodontic community, Dr. Spoonhower is an active member in many leading dental and orthodontic organizations, including:

In his spare time, Dr. Spoonhower donates to various groups helping Akron Children's Hospital, enjoys playing hockey and golf, and chasing two energetic, toddler Spoons.
